What is E - Card Service / PVC Card ?
E – Card Service is a PDF format of Digital E – Card Service, issued by the authority under the Food and Supplies Department, Government of West Bengal. E – Card Service has the same validity as printed digital E – Card Service and can be used to draw food grains and kerosene oil under a public distributor system for the fair-price shop.
Who are eligible for E - Card Service?
Beneficiaries who have linked their Aadhaar number and mobile number with their ration card are eligible for E – Card Service
What are the basic features of the E - Card Service?
E – Card Service shall have the same rights and privileges as Digital E – Card Service.
- All concerned authorities shall accept the E – Card Service at par with DRC.
- E – Card Service can be verified online anytime by anyone through the embedded QR code, as well as from official website of the Deptt. by entering the e-Ration Card No.
- E – Card Service holder can download a copy of his E – Card Service from the website at
- working day of approval.
- The E – Card Service holder will not be required to carry his Digital E – Card Service in physical / paper format to receive food grains in a Ration Shop. He can carry a copy of e-Ration Card printed on a plain paper or show a soft copy E – Card Service on his mobile phone to receive the food grains from the Ration Shop
